In the Northeast, a consortium of electric utilities and energy efficiency service providers offer instant coupons or special, retail based pricing for ENERGY STAR® qualified lighting and mail-in rebates on ENERGY STAR qualified appliances. To be ENERGY STAR qualified, products must be more energy efficient than standard products, while offering superior features and quality.
Discounts may be available on ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent light bulbs, outdoor and indoor lighting fixtures, clothes washers, refrigerators, room air conditioners, dishwashers and dehumidifiers. Available energy rebates and coupons vary by product, utility and energy efficiency service provider and are valid for a limited time. See individual rebates and coupons for details.
